- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the sirloin steak cubes with salt and black pepper; let them rest for about 15 minutes.
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat; add steak cubes and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth, adjusting thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce and top with seared steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
