Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin side down on the prepared baking sheet and pour half of the glaze over each fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Meanwhile, warm the reserved glaze in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Drizzle warmed glaze over the baked salmon and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
