- 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced

- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon coarse sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss gently and pour into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar for topping, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Mix in milk and vanilla until just combined. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the peach filling and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Allow cooling for at least 15 minutes before serving.
