- 4 flounder fillets (fresh or thawed)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and melted butter until well mixed.
- Season flounder fillets with salt and pepper before placing them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Generously top each fillet with the garlic-Parmesan mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
