Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 splash vinegar
- Food coloring (green or purple/black)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot covered with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Cool in ice water.
- Create the spooky effect: Gently crack shells and peel. Soak peeled eggs in water mixed with food coloring for about 10 minutes.
- Make the filling: Cut eggs in half, mash yolks in a bowl, then mix with mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill the eggs: Spoon or pipe the filling back into egg whites and sprinkle with paprika.
- Serve chilled on a platter.
