- 1/4 cup fig spread
- 3/4 pound fresh figs, trimmed and quartered
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Honey whipped cream
Instructions
- 1. To make the crust, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg yolk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Gradually add all-purpose and almond flour with salt to form dough. Press into a greased tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake crust for 15-20 minutes until golden; cool completely.
- 3. For the filling, beat softened butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extracts, almond flour, and salt until smooth.
- 4. Spread fig spread on cooled crust, pour filling over it, and top with quartered figs and sliced almonds.
- 5. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set. Cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving with honey whipped cream.
