  • 1 cup almond flour, sifted

  • 1/4 cup fig spread
  • 3/4 pound fresh figs, trimmed and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Honey whipped cream

Instructions

  1. 1. To make the crust, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg yolk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Gradually add all-purpose and almond flour with salt to form dough. Press into a greased tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake crust for 15-20 minutes until golden; cool completely.
  3. 3. For the filling, beat softened butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extracts, almond flour, and salt until smooth.
  4. 4. Spread fig spread on cooled crust, pour filling over it, and top with quartered figs and sliced almonds.
