  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups celery, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and sliced celery on top of the chicken.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Remove cooked chicken and shred it using two forks before returning it to the pot.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until combined.
  7. Allow to heat through for an additional 10-15 minutes before serving.
