- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 cup toffee bits
- ½ cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
- ½ cup chocolate ganache or chocolate sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Carefully stir in boiling water until batter is smooth.
- Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
- For frosting, beat softened butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Assemble by layering frosting between cooled cake layers and covering the top and sides with frosting.
- Finish with toffee bits and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
