  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced chicken in soy sauce and cornstarch for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, heat another tablespoon of oil and cook marinated chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Add broccoli back to the pan along with hoisin sauce; stir well to combine and heat through for another minute.
  5. Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
