Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 3 to 4 ounces cheddar or mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon mustard (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Mix until well combined.
- Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
- Arrange the formed meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush tops with ketchup and mustard.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
