- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef to the pot and cook, breaking it apart until browned (6-8 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package directions until tender.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese while stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or additional cheese.
