  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups raisins
  • 3/4 to 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter and crisco shortening with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon (if using). Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in quick-cooking oats, old-fashioned oats, raisins, and chopped pecans until evenly mixed.
