- 4 slices of sourdough or white bread
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese or brie
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or fontina cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries and sugar. Cook for 5-7 minutes until jammy.
- Spread cream cheese on one side of each bread slice. Layer mozzarella on two slices and top with blueberry mixture.
- Close sandwiches with remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and butter the outside of the sandwiches. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheesy.
