- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika for about 6-8 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes. Stir in cooked rice, beef broth, and heavy cream; let simmer until creamy.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer creamy rice first, followed by cooked ground beef and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, broiling for an additional few minutes if desired.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
