- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar for filling
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon for filling
- 3 tablespoons softened butter for filling
- 8 oz cream cheese for frosting
- 1/4 cup butter for frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar for frosting
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for frosting
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together warm milk, mashed bananas, melted butter, and egg.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl and let it rise for about 60-90 minutes until doubled in size.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter and sprinkle brown sugar mixed with cinnamon over the surface. Roll tightly into a log.
- Cut the log into equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise again for about 30-45 minutes until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Frost warm rolls before serving.
