Ingredients
- 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Fuji)
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix diced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon until well-coated.
- Cut biscuit dough into quarters and fold into the apple mixture until evenly coated.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the butter mixture over the apple and biscuit mixture and stir gently to combine.
- If using pecans, fold them into the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
