- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 14 oz crushed tomatoes
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 6 oz lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Ricotta cheese
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut in slices
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef with minced garlic and diced onion until the meat is cooked through.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper; mix well.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, water, and tomato paste; bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and frozen spinach; reduce heat to simmer for about 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream before serving and top with ricotta and mozzarella cheese.
