- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or basil, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Without separating, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Spread softened butter evenly on both cut sides.
- Sprinkle garlic powder on the buttered sides if desired.
- Layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Replace the top half of the rolls and press gently to secure.
- Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted.
- For a crispier crust, unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
