- 2 cups cooked rice (jasmine, basmati, or brown rice)
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, sliced cucumber, kimchi, pickled vegetables, vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, or spinach)
Instructions
- Prepare the rice by rinsing it under cold water and cooking it using your preferred method—stove, rice cooker, or Instant Pot.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions while seasoning with salt and pepper. Simmer briefly to meld flavors.
- Assemble the bowl by layering rice at the bottom, followed by the seasoned beef mixture. Top with your choice of vegetables and garnishes.
