- 1 box devil's food or German chocolate cake mix (not pudding-included)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg (for filling)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg until smooth. Spread evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and an egg. Fold in the chopped pecans and shredded coconut.
- Pour the coconut pecan filling over the cookie base and sprinkle with milk chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden on top. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
