Instructions
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, leaving them connected.
- Layer cheddar and mozzarella cheese between the rolls; add tomato slices or herbs if using.
- Butter the outer sides of the rolls generously.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, then cut and serve.
