Ingredients
- 1 (20oz) container of refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (24oz) jar of pasta sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated or shredded parmesan
- Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and season with salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Remove excess grease from the browned beef; stir in pasta sauce and cream cheese until well combined.
- Toss cooked tortellini into the meat sauce mixture; transfer to the baking dish and top with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes; switch to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
